I Need Your Help! ☘️
Okay friends…this one is still a ways away, but you know me — I love planning almost as much as I love the trip! 😂
In September 2027, I’m going to IRELAND! ☘️🍻
And before I get too far into planning, I want to hear from those of you who have already been.
Tell me EVERYTHING!
What were your absolute must-sees and must-dos in Ireland?
And I don’t just want the big tourist attractions. You know me — I love finding the little towns, scenic drives, local pubs, live music, patios, breweries, hidden gems and those unexpected stops that end up being your favourite part of a trip.
So tell me…
☘️ What town or city did you love the most?
🍺 What pub should I absolutely not miss?
🎶 Where did you find the best traditional Irish music?
🚗 Is there a scenic drive or route that I HAVE to do?
🏡 Any great places you stayed?
🍽️ Favourite restaurant or memorable meal?
🌊 Best scenery?
🥾 Great walks or hikes?
🍻 Breweries or distilleries worth visiting?
💎 And most importantly…what was the place you discovered that you weren’t expecting to love?
🚗 And here’s one of my BIG questions…
What is the best way to travel around Ireland?
Rent a car and brave driving on the other side of the road? 😂
Hire a driver for parts of the trip?
Take trains and buses?
Join a small group tour?
Or do a combination of everything?
I’m not sure I want to spend the whole vacation sitting on a big tour bus. I love having the freedom to stop when I see something interesting, wander through little towns, find a great local pub and just enjoy the experience without always rushing to the next stop.
I’m thinking approximately 10 days in early September 2027, so I know I won’t be able to see everything — and honestly, I don’t want to try.
I’d rather really enjoy the places I visit than race around Ireland just to say that I have been there.
So…
