It was so disappointing when we had to cancel all of our AirBnBs, our flights, our cycle rentals, etc. in March 2020.
I started this blog a year ago and all I wrote was this…. “Here we are March 10, 2021 and crazy to think we have gone through a whole year already of living with the coronavirus pandemic in our world.”
And now here we are March 2022 and finally things are starting to look better. I am super excited as we have our cycle trip booked and planned once again.
Flights are booked!
Our Itinerary has stayed roughly the same. Our accommodations have changed as some of the previous ones we booked, were no longer renting.
May 28/29 – Amsterdam
May 30 – Edam – 38.12 km
May 31 – Enkhuizen – 46.44 km
June 1 – Hindeloopen – 103.19 km (32 by bus)
June 2 – Lemmer – 44 km
June 3 – Zwartluis – 52.88 km
June 4 – Hierden – 53.46 km
June 5 – Spakenburg – 31.51 (easy day!)
June 6 – Amsterdam – 61.85 km
June 7 – fly home!
We have our bikes rented! Another change is that we have all decided to rent battery assisted bikes! This way we can all ride the same, not have to work as hard, and maybe do even more sightseeing/stopping along the way.
Yay!!
